Yeon Chu Paek is an undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in Food Science and Technology.

She works on consumer's perception of tortilla chip. She will be in charge of the focus group, free sorting test, and the data analysis. Recently, Yeon Chu started a cosmetic business in Korea and the United States using California agricultural byproducts as cosmetic ingredients.

Prior to undergraduate program, she studied culinary, baking, and pastry arts since high school, and worked as a pastry chef at Google HQ.

Sensory science has been the most interesting study area for Yeon Chu, and she is very happy and excited when working at Delarue lab.
