Bio

Ai Ting is a visiting PhD student from University of Otago in New Zealand. Her PhD topic investigates how feeding practices and parental dietary habits on children’s acceptance of novel plant-based meat alternatives (PBMAs). By unravelling the factors that influence parents offering PBMAs to their children, she aims to develop tailored strategies to foster greater acceptance of PBMAs among our future consumers. 

 

Prior to this, she was a senior research officer at the Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI) focusing on sensory and ingestive behaviour. Ai Ting is excited to join the Delarue Lab, where she hopes to deepen her understanding of consumer sensory perception.
